CAMBODIAN PEOPLE'S PARTY (Cambodian People's Party) - the ruling political party in the Kingdom of Cambodia since 1979. The party has about 6 million party members. The history of the party dates back to the activities of the Kampuchean People's Revolutionary Party, formed on June 28, 1951. The party acquired its modern name in 1991. From 1993 to 2013, the party won the elections to the National Assembly four times out of five. The 2018 elections ended in victory for the party, which received 125 parliamentary mandates out of 125 possible. The post of President of the party is held by the Prime Minister of Cambodia - Hun Sen. The vice-presidents of the party are: Sai Chkhumi Sar Kheng. The honorary presidents are the former leaders of the party: Heng Samrin and Chea Sim. The Cambodian People's Party has a youth wing. Since 2015, has an agreement on interaction and cooperation with the All-Russian political party "United Russia". Official site of the party:
