AMANAT
The Amanat Party (kaz. "Amanat" party) is the ruling largest political party in Kazakhstan. In 1999, the party was registered as the "Otan Republican Political Party" headed by the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In 2006, the RPP Otan was renamed the People's Democratic Party Nur Otan. In 2013, at the extraordinary congress of the NDP Nur Otan, it was decided to rebrand the party: The NDP Nur Otan was renamed the Nur Otan Party.
In 2019, the party carried out another rebranding, its program until 2030 "Welfare Society: 10 goals of the Decade" was adopted.
On January 28, 2022, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev officially became the new chairman of the party.
On March 1, 2022, an extraordinary XXII Congress was held, during which the party received a new name – "AMANAT". On April 26, 2022, the ADAL party was joined, and Yerlan Zhakanovich Koshanov was elected the new Chairman of the AMANAT party.
